The rainbow. Who can look at a rainbow without dreaming?
The rainbow is an infinite collection of all the colors of the world, even though we not be able to see some of them. It is a multicolored existence symbolizing all the different colorful cultures of the world. Our Good Practice project encourages students to understand these different cultures by developing their language and thinking skills and to acquire a greater awareness of our multicultural society. Through this program students will be able to use English to interact with the world.
Our rainbow also represents the wide range of activities and work that our program includes, such as organizing English workshops; creating opportunities for academic interaction with American universities; doing graduation thesis presentations for other undergraduates to learn from, and creating a student column on our Good Practice website that reports on our activities.
Our Good Practice project relies on the creativity and organizational skills of the students because it is the students, working as a team, who primarily plan and run the activities.
And finally, the rainbow represents the connection between our Good Practice project and the world. It is our wish that, like a rainbow, our Good Practice project will show the world our colors, our wide variety of students and faculty, and the vitality of our department.
