Aya Kawakami's Lecture

In this lecture, GP Project Director Aya Kawakami introduced the serious issue of plagiarism and ways to avoid it. The lecture was primarily done in a quiz format, asking the students to take an active role in thinking about "what is" and "what is not" plagiarism. Students were encouraged to review their own papers multiple times and decide if what was written was their own idea or taken from a source. The lecture ended with an introduction to notation and creating a bibliography.
