At the airline event, Professor Kazuko Kanazawa, a professor from the Nagoya University of Foreign Studies, shared with us her experience of working as an flight attendant, as well as talking to us about the various airline jobs, what a typical NY-Tokyo flight would be like, and giving us exercises to help us become "thoughtful thinkers". Professor Kanazawa originally intended on becoming a pre-school teacher. However, her 10-month experience in United States during her college studies ultimately helped her to realize that she wanted to become an flight attendant. Through this lecture, we learned about the many hardships and rewards that can come from having an international job and the skills required to become a successful international professional.
