My Summer Vacation: Trip to Osaka

2010.09.15

The most memorable thing I did during summer was taking a trip to Osaka. I had been there a couple of times before, but those were short stays. This time I spent 5 days there to explore Osaka. I bought a guide book and made a plan beforehand. I walked around many famous places and ate takoyaki and okonomiyaki a lot! I enjoyed many different kinds of takoyaki. There is a place where you can make takoyaki by yourself in Umeda and it is really fun! My favorite place in Osaka is Nanba, because there is a cool street beside a river, with many restaurants and souvenir shops. Especially at night, the street comes alive with the bright signs of all the stores. Additionally, my favorite takoyaki store is there. I walked so much for 5 days that I became exhausted; however, I had a great time in Osaka. After this trip I think I will take more time in each place I visit from now on.
