Last Semester I Worked so Hard on...Reading, Reading, Reading!

2010.09.06

During the spring semester, I worked hard reading books for my graduate thesis. I came back from studying abroad in May, and I did not take any classes except my seminar class during the semester. However, I have been taking a teaching course at Nanzan, so I did a teaching practice internship at my high school for 2 weeks, starting 12 days after I came back. Therefore, I was very busy until the internship ended on June 11th. I was supposed to start working on my graduate thesis around that time, but I was still not sure what I would write about. So I talked to my professor twice, and after deciding what to write about, I started reading many books relating to the topic. Actually, I did not start reading them until the end of the June, but I managed to read seven books by the end of the spring semester. I will have to give a twenty-minute presentation about my graduate thesis in English at a seminar study camp in September. I hope the effort I put in will help me give a good presentation.
