Dickinson students in June

Last month, I had a very great time with the Dickinson students. At first, to be honest, I was wondering if I could have a good relationship with them. However, they spoke to me in a friendly way so I was very glad and made many good friendships. The first time I talked a lot with them was when we went to Astuta Matsuri. I remember a lot of the Dickinson students wore their own Kimonos that day and all of them looked so nice! We saw a lot of beautiful fireworks that night and talked a lot. I really enjoyed both watching them and talking with the Dickinson students! It was a very good day for me. Especially, I really really had a great time with the "small group" members. All of them were very nice and friendly and we spent a lot of time together so I had very good memories of them. Actually I felt very happy every time I met the Dickinson students so I was glad to hear that they said they felt better in Nagoya than Kyoto! I am not good at listening to and speaking in English but the Dickinson students tried to understand and they talked with me, smiling. I deeply appreciated that and I am really glad to have met them. Thank you so much!
