Intercultural competence, short-term study abroadこの分野を選んだ理由
I’ve always been curious about other cultures and the ways that people can find ways to interact effectively across various cultures. Understanding and actively seeking ways to bridge across our differences is an especially important life skill in our global society. To that end, I always believe that trying is succeeding.

Microphone.
I record a lot of interviews. Of course, this means I need YOU...the students and your willingness to share your life experiences!
趣味
Enjoying outdoor activities (cycling, hiking, snowshoeing), playing guitar (especially electric...and very loud), listening to music (rock, blues, fusion, funk, and more), traveling, reading, napping (I borrowed this idea from a Japanese friend), watching ice hockey (I love it when Toronto crushes Vancouver), and some other secret hobbies.

小さい頃の夢
My dream was to become a fireman. I had a big red hat, plastic ax, and used to chase my little sister (who I pretended was a fire) around the backyard with a water hose. My parents then wisely suggested that I come up with another dream. Yes, my sister forgave me!
行ってみたい国・場所
The great migration in East Africa (from Kenya to Tanzania). To see that many animals doing what nature intends within their natural habitat with my own eyes would be an incredible experience!
